Chief Operating Officer
Philippe Lapointe is the Chief Operating Officer of Lantower Residential and has led the company since its inception in 2014. He is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day operations in addition to overseeing the acquisition, development and financing of all Lantower Residential investments. Under Philippe’s leadership, Lantower Residential has acquired more than $1 billion of multifamily properties and has grown to a team of over 230 employees.
Prior to Lantower Residential, Philippe was the Executive Vice President of a Dallas-based investment company, where he oversaw the firm’s capital deployment and day-to-day operations in addition to establishing direction for the firm’s business planning and strategy.
Philippe holds a Law degree from Université Laval and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD, and is fluent in English, French and Spanish. He is currently an active member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) as well as the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and is based in Dallas, Texas.
President - Property Management
Emily Watson joined Lantower in 2020 and is the President of Property Management bringing over 25 years of multifamily experience in operations, training and asset management. Emily is responsible for driving operational execution and performance, marketing, revenue management, and recruiting for the company.
Prior to joining Lantower Residential, Emily was Managing Director for Berkshire Residential, overseeing over 21k units in 20 major markets throughout the United States. She also previously held senior roles at Equity Residential, McDowell Properties and Buckingham Companies.
Emily served on the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas Board of Directors from 2008-2013, holds a Certified Property Manager designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management, and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member.
Vice President - Accounting
Audrey oversees Lantower Residential’s accounting department. Prior to joining the Lantower team, she was a controller for Invitation Homes, a Blackstone real estate portfolio company and among the largest single-family rental companies in the United States. In addition, she was previously a corporate accounting manager for Tarragon Corporation, a public company that owned multifamily apartment communities, commercial properties, and developments. Audrey has over twenty years of accounting experience most of which in the area of real estate.
Audrey graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio and is based in Dallas, Texas.
Vice President - Investments
Hunter plays an integral role in Lantower’s investments, both on the acquisition and development front. His acquisition duties include sourcing, selecting and overseeing the underwriting and financing of Lantower’s new acquisitions. To date, he has participated in over $1 Billion in multifamily acquisitions. Hunter is also responsible for site selection and of the development process. As a member of the investment and executive committees, Hunter contributes to the direction of the company and executes its vision.
Prior to joining Lantower Residential, Hunter worked in Asset Management for U. L. Coleman Companies in Shreveport, LA, where he was responsible for underwriting, analytics, and loan originations for multifamily acquisitions and developments.
Hunter graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University - Shreveport in Finance and holds the CCIM® designation. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) and is based in Tampa, Florida.
